We welcome you in the website of the NUN The Netherland!
National Unity Nepal Nederland, NUNN is a national chapter of NUN international; a social network of Nepali speaking people around the globe. This is a non profit organization which is founded !n 2009 in Amsterdam, in the gathering of hundreds of such people who wanted to uplift their society by themselves with the joint effort !
Nepali people are diverse culturally, ethnically as well as geographically. The only common base of unity in such diversity is language. This social network is focusing to bring such diverse Nepali community together to share their concerns and to foster their values of helping each other in the hours of need. Basically, human right protection, and social welfare works will be carried out with the collective strength of the target groups themselves. Preserving own identity in multicultural arena, NUNN will encourage Nepali talents in the Netherlands and around the globe. With those ambitions this organization is operating, at present inside and around the Netherlands.
Mission: Awakening & Uniting Nepalese to Uplift Themselves
OBJECTIVES
- NUNN shall strive to help people of Nepalese origin feel home and get integrated into a Dutch society.
- Help with the objectives assisting the newly arrived Nepalese and to act as an unofficial embassy in providing information about Nepal and the Netherlands.
- Promotes unique identity of our arts and culture in multicultural arena.
- Provides opportunity to the people to enlighten themselves by means of Vedic knowledge, spiritual and Yogic knowledge ultimately resulting in enlightened society.
- aims to Protect human rights of the people of the Nepalese origin (PNO) and providing social support to the vulnerable people in the world.
- encourages Nepali talents in the netherlands and provide support to the needy children in getting educational oppurtinity.
For those all good foundations, we would like to invite all our friends to be united. This social organization will be bridging the gaps among us.
